With twinkling lights, cheerful music, and a cozy atmosphere, it’s the ideal place to create lasting memories this holiday season.

Happy Holidays from everyone at the SoKY Ice Rink.

During the Holiday Season, while school is out, SoKY Ice Rink will be open longer hours. December 1st through 23rd, our hours are Thursday and Friday: 4pm-9pm and Saturday and Sunday: 1pm-9pm. On Friday, December 13th we will only be open for the 4pm-6pm skating session. On Christmas Eve, our hours are 1pm-6pm (resurfacing from 3pm-4pm), and on Christmas Day we will be closed.

From December 26th through January 5th, we will be open daily from 1pm-9pm!

Admission is $12 for adults, $10 for kids 12 and under, and kids 4 and under skate free. Skate rental is included in the admission fee, and each admission includes one skating session. Basic season passes are available for $125 – these include admission for skating only. The All Access Season Pass includes access to any open skating, broomball, or pond hockey for $175 per pass.

Concessions are provided this year by Totally Baked Pretzels. The food truck will include their regular menu items like pretzels and pretzel bites, along with holiday items such as hot chocolate, lattes, and festive treats.

Storytime in the Snowdome with the Warren County Public Library will be each Thursday at 4pm and 4:30pm. Each week a different character will be joining us to do a meet and greet along with a story. You may participate in storytime without purchasing an ice skating ticket. On December 12th, Santa Jason will be at the rink from 4pm to 8pm. Please register with WCPL on their website.

On December 19th, Parties with a Princess and Balloon-a-Gram are helping us celebrate Princess and Pirate Night at SoKY Ice Rink! Your favorite frozen princesses will be at the rink from 4pm-7pm for a meet and greet and photos, and a pirate will be there doing balloon swords! It is sure to be a fun and festive evening. Bonus points if you dress like a princess or pirate – you’ll get $2 off your admission!

Last season, we introduced skating sessions to the ice rink. Skating sessions are from 1pm-3:30pm, 4:30pm-6:30pm, and 7:30pm-9pm. The rink will be resurfaced by our Stupp Fiber Zamboni at 3:30pm and 6:30pm each day so the skating experience is better and safer than ever! On days when we are only open from 4pm-9pm, the resurfacing will take place at 6pm.

SoKY Ice Rink’s Cast Iron Curling League’s first season is in full swing and the teams are having a great time! Our second season’s registration is open now on sokyice.com. League Registration includes four weeks of curling and a beanie for each team member! The fee is $200 per team with up to eight people. The second season will begin on January 6th and will include three weeks of games, and the fourth week will be a tournament. White Squirrel Brewery will be at SoKY Marketplace on these evenings for curling participants. And if you’re wondering what we mean by cast iron curling… it is exactly like it sounds. We are playing the sport of curling with cast-iron skillets!

We hope to see you at SoKY Ice Rink sometime this winter! You can find more information about what’s going on at the rink atwww.sokyice.com or find SoKY Ice Rink on Facebook.
