In March of 2022, The Relay Worship Group gathered dozens of churches from the SOKY region together to present “Worthy: A Night of Worship” for 1,000 people at The SKyPAC for free!
In 2023, there were more people in the choir, orchestra, and production team, more churches involved, and the attendance grew to 1,500 for “At the Cross.”
In 2024, even more people were included at every level. More than 40 churches combined to present the most powerful gathering yet, “Victorious!” which saw an attendance of about 2,000.
We, The Relay Worship Group, are delighted to announce that at 6pm on April 5 and 6 of this year, nearly 50 churches are assembling to share “Risen!” For the first time, we will also have The Relay Worship Children’s Choir singing, and our hope is to see 3,000 people gather to celebrate Easter as a city, as a region.
While each program has included the Easter story, the focus for 2025 is simply the greatest, most globally impactful event in history, the resurrection of Jesus Christ. We want to hold up the way Jesus came back from the dead like you’d look at a diamond under a light in a jewelry shop, looking at its many facets.
Perhaps the most important facet is the one where you see your reflection. The Easter event was for history, it was for all people, and it was for you. Yes, you. We have crafted an Easter Night of Worship for Christians, atheists, addicts, skeptics, gossips, and yes, for you.
This free Easter celebration event at The SKyPAC will feature a community choir and orchestra along with visual presentations of the gospel, devotionals, scripture readings, choral arrangements, traditional hymns, and contemporary worship songs. Each element of worship was carefully and intentionally included with you in mind!
The Relay Worship Group has dozens of people hard at work ensuring that the community experience is crafted down to the smallest of details. As you make your way to SKyPAC, you’ll encounter a community of believers from dozens of churches in the SOKY region who have prayed that God would move in remarkable ways in Bowling Green, prayed over this event, and even prayed over every person who attends.
