What if I told you that by one single act the world could be forever changed? What if I told you that it could heal relationships, mend broken hearts, awaken creativity and change the very atmosphere of your life? What if I told you that this act is worship? When we worship God, we welcome His presence, and you cannot enter the presence of God and leave unchanged.
“When we worship, we declare war on every lie that says, ‘God’s not able.’” -Rick Pino
As humans, we tend to try to face problems on our own through logic, strategy and sheer willpower. There is a better way. No matter what troubles you are facing right now, God is “able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think” (Ephesians 3:20). Not only can God meet your needs, He can do so much more. When we worship God, He fights for us. And when we worship God corporately, it’s a multiplication effect. It changes not only our individual lives but also the lives of the people around us and even the very atmosphere of our land.
That’s what Worship Kentucky is all about.
Several years ago, Worship Kentucky started as an event to gather churches from all over our region as one unified group through corporate worship. The effect has been staggering. We have seen lives changed in miraculous ways at these annual events, but the after effect is even greater. A great unification of the church is starting. Churches are starting to see the strength in working together, in ministering together and in worshipping together. When we are joined together there is no limit to what God can do through His body.
You see, the church is a body not a building.
There is amazing power in coming together as a body of believers in corporate worship. Matthew 18:19-20 says, “Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven. For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst.” Do you want to see revival in our region? Join us at Worship Kentucky on Saturday, September 22, 2018, from 10am-6pm at Circus Square Park. Let’s come together in agreement and unity through worship and watch what God will do.
The Christian does not go to the temple to worship. The Christian takes the temple with him or her. Jesus lifts us beyond the building and pays the human body the highest compliment by making it His dwelling place, the place where He meets with us.”—Ravi Zacharias
We are the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit, and that makes us the light of the world (Matthew 5:14). Individually we are but a tiny spark, but together we are a blazing inferno. When we join as one body, we will create a fire so big and so bright that the world won’t be able to ignore it. It will spark a wildfire of revival throughout our community.
“But just as your body needs sleep, your soul needs time to rest in God. To learn more about Him. To talk to Him. To worship and praise Him. To fellowship with other brothers and sisters.”—Craig Groeschel
Worship Kentucky is for you, too! Our souls need time to rest in God and worship and praise Him. Furthermore, we were created for community. We need fellowship with Christian brothers and sisters. This event is a time for leaning on one another as well as a time to “spur one another on toward love and good deeds” (Hewbrews 10:24). “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another” (Proverbs 27:17). Don’t miss this opportunity to grow in unity with other believers as well as in your personal walk with Christ.
