The 2020 Southern Kentucky Bridal Expo is SATURDAY, January 18, at the Knicely Center in Bowling Green. Hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Over 90 wedding professionals will be on hand to help brides plan their special day!! The event will feature wedding dresses, menswear, photographers, videographers, photo booths, wedding cakes and more!! Fabulous door prizes will include a string ensemble for your wedding ceremony, DJ services for the evening, a wedding cake, $500 Visa gift card and much more!! Everything a bride needs to plan her wedding is all under one roof at the 7th Annual Southern Kentucky Expo!!
Wedding Trends of 2020 at the SOKY Bridal Expo!!
1. Circular Backdrops – The ceremony backdrop is one of the most photographed focal points of the wedding. Circular backdrops are all the rage for 2020; they create an alternative to arbors that is elegant and refined. 2. Vintage Furniture in bold colors that takes you back to days gone by is a perfect setting for a lounge area at your wedding reception. A bit of nostalgia that embraces the look of yesteryear. 3. Wedding Colors – Burgundy is the big wedding color of 2020, whether it is used in bridesmaids’ dresses, flowers or table linens. This beautiful jewel toned color paired with greenery and navy takes on an elegant look that compliments nature. 4. Wedding Cakes – The wedding cake is also a focal point at your reception, and we’re seeing more contemporary cake designs in 2020.
