Local Bowling Green artist Joan Surber painted our January cover. Here’s what she has to say about the gorgeous geese… “I love to paint wildlife. Here is a watercolor-style depiction of two Canada geese in a breathtaking winter sunset setting. They are known for their strong pair bonds. They exhibit remarkable dedication to their families, with both parents actively defending their nests and goslings from predators. This ensures survival of their young, making one of nature’s most loyal and caring bird species.” Thanks, Joan, for letting us use this gorgeous painting this month!
