At Ford’s Furniture we are so proud that the folks at Gemini Homes chose us to decorate their amazing 2020 Parade of Homes entry. Builder Kelly Arnold and designer Vickey Grimsley created an amazing canvas for the Ford’s Design Studio to decorate.
We chose products from great furniture lines like C.R. Laine and Fairfield Chair. We selected rugs from Kaz Rug Company and used a wide variety of art and accessories to bring the look together… one piece at a time… like a puzzle turning into a beautiful, finished, comfortable home.
Our design started at the front door with a little entry nook where we added a gorgeous chest with accessories and a painting, along with a rug with colors to tie it all together.
Kelly and Vickey had chosen an amazing color for the dining room and Ford’s selected a dining table featuring wood with iron, and gorgeous linen chairs, some great accessories and a colorful painting and rug to finish off the look.
We feel like our Ford’s Furniture products really shined in the living room which features a totally dynamic vibe. With the basic cream sofa and some truly fun chairs, this room makes a statement while still being comfortable. In today’s design world, don’t be afraid to mix and play with your patterns a little bit. We also added the gorgeous large painting and rug… again tied together by their colors, and finished off the room with a great selection of lamps and decorative accessories.
Last but certainly not least is the master bedroom. The huge linen bed just makes a statement. The tall cabinet from Universal is a great look with the little bit of black that just makes it pop. For a comfortable seat we added the beautiful soft linen cane chair, and the floor lamp next to it is just fun to look at.
From the art on the walls to the rugs on the floor and all the furniture and accessories in between, the Ford’s Design Studio was incredibly proud to be selected to turn Gemini Homes’ beautiful house into a stylish and comfortable home. Come visit us at Ford’s Furniture today and see what we can do for your home.
