Our Mission is to create a community of individuals who are goal-oriented and value-driven. We aim to teach a strong technical foundation while providing mentorship, guidance and encouragement to help students reach their goals. It is our goal to provide personalized and individual attention because we desire to see growth in every dancer’s training and in their confidence, as well. At KYDC we not only train dancers, but we are training the next generation of leaders, innovators and creators.
So what sets us apart from other dance studios?
Here at KYDC we are an educated, driven training facility focusing on terminology, proper technique, conditioning, self-confidence and positive attitudes. We offer training classes in all styles, levels and ages. Each class will always be different and learn new combos each week.
KYDC offers competitive crews and dance companies for those who are looking for more performance opportunities and stage experience. The open training classes are separate from these crews and companies so training is not interrupted. We offer open classes for all ages, levels and styles that are no commitment.
At the end of our Spring Term we offer a dance concert, which is not your typical dance recital. This will be a showcase of what our students have learned throughout the year, along with some of the competition pieces and community involvement. Friends, family and the community have a chance to see what KYDC is all about.
UPCOMING EVENT: Saturday, October 23rd, 4pm-7pm, we will have a Fall Festival. The whole community is invited to join us at KYDC for food, fun, games and giveaways.
