The Portland Chamber of Commerce is organizing the 81st Annual Middle Tennessee Strawberry Festival.
Make plans to celebrate the history of the Strawberry Festival on May 13-14, 2022. Events are also scheduled throughout the week. Bring your entire family for an opportunity to be a part of this great festival. Review the lineup below and join the fun! •May 6-7: Strawberry Quilt Show at Richland Gym
•May 7: Middle Tennessee Strawberry Festival Pageants at Portland High School
•May 7, 7pm: Strawberry Slam Wrestling Event at Portland High School
•May 10-14: Come enjoy the Carnival fun all week long at Richland Park
•May 10, 8am: Annual Four-Person Golf Scramble at Kenny Perry’s Country Creek Golf Course in Franklin, KY. $500/Team includes breakfast, lunch, mulligans & games package.
•May 12: Portland TN Farmers’ Market Grand Opening for 2022 from 3:30pm-7pm at 100 E. Market Street. The first ever Strawberry Art Showcase will also be happening at Milo Coffee House near the Farmers’ Market from 4pm-6pm. Local artists will be showcasing some of their work.
•May 13: Strawberry Jam Concert featuring Resurrection – A Journey Tribute on the Old Hickory Credit Union stage
Live music & vendors begin at 5pm off Market Street (Bring a chair or rent one for $5 while supplies last)
Classic car cruise-in on Main Street begins at 5pm as well
Throw axes on Market Street from 5pm-7pm with The Flip’n Axe Mobile Axe Throwing trailer
Resurrection – A Journey Tribute begins playing at 7pm with fireworks at 8:30pm
Free parking & shuttle at Portland High School from 4:30-9:30pm
•May 14: Main Festival Day:
*Portland Rotary Club Pancake Breakfast starts at 7am at First Baptist Portland
*Strawberry Stride 5K Walk/Run sponsored by Portland Athletics starts at 8am at Portland High School
*Kid Town USA, where it’s all about the kids. Main Street is full of inflatable jumps, obstacle courses and more. Play all day for $5.00 beginning at 9am.
*Strawberry Jam Live Entertainment from 9am-4pm on Market Street and Section C stage
*Strawberry Lane Strawberries for sale beginning at 10am until they are gone!
*See how long you can ride the Mechanical Bull beginning at 9am ($5 per ride – cash only!)
*Come take a picture with our mascot Patch, buy T-shirts and other official festival gear, get festival brochures & information and put your hometown on our map at the Where Are You From Booth
*Magic Shows on the N. Russell stage at 11am, 12:30pm and 2pm
*Meet and Greet with Robocars from 10am-4pm
*Over 200+ Vendors in 5 locations
*Free parking & shuttle at Portland High School beginning at 9am
*Bingo beginning at 1pm
*Mascot Meet & Greet at 3pm followed by Mascot Race at 3:45pm
*Parade begins at 4pm (applications for entry available online)
