Kids on the Block is holding an exciting kids’ run in August! The 10th Annual Scotty’s Pound the Pavement will be Saturday, August 20 at Kereiakes Park in Bowling Green.
Scotty’s Pound the Pavement is a free kids’ run for children in eighth grade and under. There are three options for running: 1/2K, 2K and 3K. The first 400 children to register will receive a dry fit shirt, goody bag and finisher’s medal. Awards will be given to the top five male and female finishers of each race. Top sponsors include: Scotty’s Contracting and Stone, BG Tire, Houchens Insurance Group, Brandeis Machinery, BOYD CAT, VIP Bowling Green, D93 WDNS, Martin Marietta, Higgins Center for Nonprofits, Foundation Solutions Group and WBKO. Sponsorships support educational puppetry programs in Warren County.
