•May 5-6: 3rd Annual Strawberry Quilt Show at Richland Gym
•May 6: Middle Tennessee Strawberry Festival Pageants at Portland High School
•May 6, 7pm: Strawberry Slam Wrestling Event at Portland High School
•May 9-13: Come enjoy the Carnival fun all week long at Richland Park
•May 9, 8am: Annual Four-Person Golf Scramble at Kenny Perry’s Country Creek Golf Course in Franklin, Kentucky. $600/team includes breakfast, lunch, mulligans & games package.
•May 11: Portland TN Farmers’ Market Grand Opening for 2023 from 3:30pm-7pm. The 2nd Annual Strawberry Festival Art Showcase will also be happening at Richland Gym from 4pm-7pm. Local artists will be showcasing some of their work.
•May 12: Strawberry Jam Concert featuring Rubiks Groove on the Old Hickory Credit Union stage
Live music and food vendors begin at 5pm off Market Street (Bring a chair or rent one for $5 while supplies last)
Classic Car Cruise-In on Main Street starts at 5pm
Rubiks Groove begins playing at 6:30pm with fireworks at 8:30pm
Free parking & shuttle at Portland High School from 4:30-9:30pm
•May 13 – Main Festival Day:
*Portland Rotary Club Pancake Breakfast starts at 7am at First Baptist Portland
*Strawberry Stride 5K Walk/Run sponsored by Portland Athletics starts at 8am at Portland High School
*Kid Town USA, where it’s all about the kids. Play all day for $5 beginning at 9am.
NEW KID TOWN LOCATION FOR 2023 – grassy area beside the Moye-Green House off Wheeler Street
*Strawberry Jam Live Entertainment from 10am-4pm on Market Street and Section C Stage
*Strawberry Lane Strawberries for sale beginning at 10am until they are gone!
*See how long you can ride the Mechanical Guitar beginning at 9am ($5 per ride – cash only!)
*Come take a picture with our mascot Patch, buy T-shirts and other official festival gear, get festival brochures and information, and put your hometown on our map at the Where Are You From? Booth
*Magic Shows on the N. Russell stage at 11am, 1pm and 3pm
*Meet and Greet with Robocars from 11am-4pm
*Over 200+ Vendors in six locations
*Free parking and shuttle at Portland High School AND Generation Church beginning at 10am.
*Bingo beginning at 1pm
*Parade begins at 4pm (applications for entry available online)
