The birds are out in Bowling Green and we are ready. With the return of Hummingbirds, Purple Martins, Bluebirds building nests, and the Rose Breasted Grosbeaks passing through, Spring is a wonderful time to be a bird watcher.
Hummingbirds return, and it’s time to get your Hummingbird feeders up. Purple Martins return, and your Martin houses should be up and cleaned out for the building of nests, and also your Bluebird houses. This is the time to clean your feeders to be ready for all the birds who come to your feeders: Cardinals, Titmouse, Chickadees, Carolina Wrens, Goldfinches and House Finches.
Start out Spring with fresh bird seed and clean your birdbaths so you can enjoy all the visitors to your yard.
2023 marks the 23rd Annual Herb Festival which will begin Wednesday, April 26th and run to Derby Day, May 6th. We will have all your favorite Herbs and Perennials to bring Birds, Bees and Butterflies to your garden.
The Wild Bird and Nature Store has Spring 2023 covered with bird seed, birdbaths, and plants at the Herb Festival, as well as backyard art.
