Summer is a time for exploration, growth, and self-expression, especially for young minds with a passion for the arts. If your child is looking to dive into a world of creativity, PTK’s Summer Arts Programs are the perfect opportunities to unleash their artistic potential. These programs provide a supportive and inclusive environment for individuals of all backgrounds and abilities to learn, grow, and have fun.
PTK’s Summer Arts Day Camps, held in June, offer a comprehensive curriculum that introduces participants to various aspects of theatre. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, campers will engage in acting exercises, workshops with special guests, and collaborative storytelling projects. These activities help develop creativity, confidence, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, all while having a blast. At the end of camp, participants showcase their newfound skills in an exciting performance for friends, family, and the community.
PTK’s Inclusive Summer Intensive, scheduled for July, takes PTK’s commitment to inclusivity to new heights. This program welcomes individuals of all abilities, allowing everyone to experience the power of the performing arts. By removing barriers and celebrating diversity, this Intensive encourages participants to embrace their unique talents and fosters a sense of belonging. From acting to set design and technical production, participants can explore different aspects of theatre in an environment where everyone’s abilities are celebrated and nurtured.
This summer don’t miss your child’s chance to be a part of the transformative experiences offered by the Public Theatre of Kentucky. Let them embrace their creativity, step onto the stage, and watch their imagination soar!
