When trying to make decisions on furniture colors, you need to ask yourself if you want bold, subtle, bright, light, pattern or no pattern. So many great options!
With some clients, their entire thought process is texture. Personally, I have a love of Buffalo Plaids.
Most sofas have a solid body fabric and the color pattern goes on the pillows. Velvets are really a beautiful option of body sofas. The navy or green tones make a lovely selection. Pop your pillows, rugs and prints with a finishing touch to complete your look.
If you really want to make a bold statement, you could always do a red sofa with black and white pillows and a hide rug. This screams color! Adding a clear glass-top coffee table can really give the finished look a more contemporary look.
