Whether you are looking to build, remodel, or just hope for a few design ideas to help spruce up your home, the Parade of Homes is something you’ll want to experience. This self-guided tour provides something to pique everyone’s attention. These homes allow you the opportunity to see mother-in-law suites, gourmet kitchens and great ideas to make lofts and attics useable space.
Many of the homes are staged with furniture and other home accessories that can help you see what the products might look like in your home. The detail and design are phenomenal, whether it’s a custom home built for a specific family or a spec home for sale. This is a great chance to speak with Registered Builders to see what they can offer.
All homes in the Parade are built by general contractors who are members of the Builders Association of South Central Kentucky and who have earned Registered Builder designation by meeting a stringent set of criteria including building, education and experience, in partnership with many Associate members from carpenters, painters, designers, mortgage lenders and more.
That’s what our Parade of Homes (September 19-22) brings to the public. Homeowners and Registered Builders open their homes so you have the opportunity to experience outstanding craftsmanship, new trends, and luxurious designs.
Presented by the Builders Association of South Central Kentucky and co-sponsored by FirstBank, Bowling Green Home Furnishings and WBKO Cares, this is an opportunity to see new colors, building products, home fashions, and much more.
Tickets are only $10 (children under 12 get in free). Tickets are good for all four days and entrance into all homes on the tour. Tickets will be for sale online at www.bascky.com or in advance at the Builders Association office at 859 Lovers Lane from 8am-4pm Monday through Friday. And they will also be available to purchase at each home during the tour.
The Parade of Homes Magazine will also be available at the Builders Association at any time prior to the Parade and during the Parade with a limited supply at the homes. The magazine will also be published online at www.bascky.com. Parade hours for September 19-22 are 5pm-8pm Thursday and Friday, 10am-5pm Saturday, and 1pm-5pm Sunday.
