As leaves fall and the air gets colder, the seasons change once again. Christmas will be here before long. Let Twin Bridges Tree Farm help you find this year’s Christmas tree for your home and make lasting memories that’ll be cherished for a lifetime.
Twin Bridges Tree Farm is locally owned and operated in Alvaton, Kentucky by long-time Warren County residents, Eddie and Donna Beane. A quick turn off Scottsville Road reveals the farm with a little more than five acres filled with fresh Christmas trees.
This year, the farm has hundreds of trees available to choose and cut from the fields. None of the trees at Twin Bridges Tree Farm are pre-cut. They all begin as saplings planted on the farm and over the years – with love and care – grow large enough to cut down and take home to enjoy for Christmas. Twin Bridges Tree Farm has a variety of sizes of trees for sale, beginning at five feet tall.
The farm will supply your family with a measuring stick and saw to cut down the tree and would be happy to help as needed. This farm has become a wonderful place for our family to learn, grow, and create memories together. Our hope is that your family will experience that same joy as you make Twin Bridges Tree Farm a Christmas tradition. There’s something special about decorating a tree and having it in your home all Christmas season while recalling the memories of finding it, choosing it, cutting it down, and taking it home.
Twin Bridges Tree Farm has a selection of Christmas tree varieties growing on the property including White Pine, Norway Spruce, and a select group of Scotch Pine.
White Pines are known for great needle retention and will stay fresh well past Christmas with proper watering. They have long, soft needles, tend to be very full, and have that “traditional” Christmas tree shape.
Norway Spruce trees have shorter needles with strong, sturdy branches. There tends to be more space between the branches on these trees, allowing room to hold large, heavy ornaments. These trees also have a great smell.
Because this is a “choose and cut” farm, any trees left in the field will continue growing for next Christmas season. Where a tree was cut down, a sapling will be planted in its place in the spring to continue the growing cycle.
In addition to Christmas trees, Twin Bridges Tree Farm also sells easy-to-use tree stands that can be reused for years to come. The farm offers complimentary tree shaking, which knocks off loose needles and debris from the outdoors, as well as complimentary tree bailing where netting is wrapped around the tree for convenient transport home. Twin Bridges Tree Farm will also help secure your tree to your vehicle, if needed. Double-sided wreaths are also available for purchase.
Twin Bridges Tree Farm loves being part of the community. During the 2022 and 2023 Christmas seasons, Twin Bridges Tree Farm participated in Bowling Green’s annual Downtown Lights Up event by providing the Christmas tree placed in front of SKyPAC.
Twin Bridges Tree Farm is located at 9669 Twin Bridges Road in Alvaton. Coming from Bowling Green, it’s about one mile past Split Tree Barbecue on the right.
Opening day is early this year! The farm is adding an additional weekend ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday. Twin Bridges Tree Farm will be open Saturday, Nov. 23 from 9am until dark and Sunday, Nov. 24 from noon until dark. The farm will re-open after Thanksgiving on Friday, Nov. 29 from 9am until dark and will also be open Saturday, Nov. 30 from 9am until dark and Sunday, Dec. 1 from noon until dark.
