Let’s first learn a little more about cellulite. Cellulite is not fat. Cellulite is not caused by what, or by how much, you eat. Cellulite is not attributed to lack of exercise. What is QWO?
QWO (collagenase clostridium histolyticum-aaes) is an injectable solution used to treat moderate to severe cellulite. QWO is a cutting-edge treatment, without the cutting. QWO is non-surgical.
How does QWO work?
The enzymes in QWO (called collagenases) target the structural cause under your skin. QWO works in three ways: it releases fibrous bands, redistributes fat cells and stimulates the growth of new collagen. Visible results may be achieved in 10 weeks with three treatments. Treatments are twenty-one days apart.
What to expect during the treatment
At your appointment, our providers will discuss treatment and expectations. After identifying the treatment areas, they will use a small needle to inject QWO directly into the dimples. The entire session only takes about 15 minutes! No post-treatment downtime is required with QWO. Our providers will talk with you about what to expect post-treatment and when to follow-up with your next session.
