It’s a Bowling Green, Kentucky first – Bride2Bride Marketplace, where past brides resell wedding decorations, dresses and other wedding-related items to future brides at bargain prices. Twenty recent brides will be set up to resell bows, tablecloths, signs, easels, wedding aisle chair decor, lanterns, candles, flower girl baskets, wedding card boxes/baskets, ring bearer pillows, hairpieces and dresses. As a bride-to-be, managing a budget is crucial to successfully plan for your big day. Finding wedding-related items to stay under that budget is challenging. That’s where Bride2Bride Marketplace comes in! Mark your calendar for Sunday, November 14th, 1:30pm-4:00pm.
Early Bird Shoppers – 1:30pm, Admission is $8 cash at the door, limited to the first 50 individuals.
Bargain Shoppers – 2:00pm, Admission is $4 cash at the door.
Here are some tips to help you have the most success (and fun!) as you bring your wedding vision from dream to reality! Whether you are just looking for inspiration or are ready to purchase everything from bouquets to complete bar set-ups and table arrangements, you’ll have a great time shopping at the Bride2Bride Marketplace event.
• Bring a friend or two (bridesmaids, fiancé or your mom)
• Bring cash! Preferably small bills. Although some of the sellers may be able to accept credit cards, Venmo or PayPal, they are not required. Since cash is acceptable by all vendors, come prepared so you don’t miss a great deal!
• Get advice from the sellers. Remember, they have just finished with all their wedding planning and are a great resource for what to do and what not to do. Take advantage of their experience!
• It’s a great idea to bring some boxes, tubs or storage totes with you. You can leave them in your car while you shop – then bring them in to collect your stuff. Also, make sure you have room in your vehicle to put the great wedding items you’re going to buy!!
• Check Bride2Bride Marketplace FB page before the event to preview items that will be sold at the event.

Southernlyn Oaks farm is located at 721 Brian Lane, nestled just off of Pleasant Hill Road (about a block from Masters Kennels). The farm has been in the Reece Family for four decades, has produced a variety of crops and is home to livestock and wildlife. Currently, the main crops are sweet corn, yellow watermelons, pumpkins and gourds. The 3000 square foot blue barn can host small occasions including Intimate Weddings, Class Reunions, Family Reunions, Baby Showers, Birthdays, Business Holiday Gatherings and much more.
